Summer Camp 2016 - This quality weekday recreational program includes organized games, swimming, field trips, arts and craft projects, physical activity, outdoor play, educational experiences and opportunities to develop friendship and self-esteem in a safe supervised FUN atmosphere.  Summer Day Camp is offered for children 5 ½ - 12 years. Patricia Dach Scholoarship Fund -- Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp - In honor of former Byron Park District Board Commissioner and stroke survivor, Patricia (Pat) Dach, the Byron Park District has established a scholarship program to assist with the costs associated with holding the Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp in the Rockford area.  Read More...


Ride Of Silence - In memory of Richard Esposito and others that have been killed or injured in cycling accidents, his family and the Byron Park District, sponsored a Ride of Silence on May 18, 2016. The ride was held during National Bike Month, and aims to raise awareness of cyclist’s legal rights to roadways. It is a chance to honor the lives of those that have been lost or injured while riding.  Read more...
